Commercial fit out of a Hairdressing Salon within part of a grade II listed former Coaching Inn.
Guided by constraints regarding the treatment of historical elements and the underlying merits of the existing space, the entire scheme was designed to minimise invasivness. While the stud walls ultimately serve the practical purpose of ensuring a strong fixing for the mirror units they also offer both a window display and additional privacy for the customer. Contrasting colours and a minimal style was chosen to set apart the modern insertions into the historical fabric.
